first haircut

I've thought for a couple months now that Ainsley could use a bit of a trim - her hair has been so long in the back that it could get caught in bibs or snaps at the back of shirts.  We took her to our hairdresser recently and she cleaned up Ainsley's look all around.  Ainsley sat on my lap for the haircut and she did great.  If anything, it was a challenge to keep her from turning her head to look at the scissors and the hairdresser!  Here's the before pictures:

And some after pictures in the days following ... her bangs weren't quite straight in one picture, but I assure you they were cut straight and look much neater than before!  Hard to get a good shot of the back of her head, but the mullet was obviously trimmed too :)
